Its Only a Season (Medium)

Story My mom always tells me, “Some people come into your life for a reason, a season, or forever.” It’s something that has stuck with me since the first time she’s said it. At first, I remember thinking, “no, this person is going to be around forever!” But, she was right. I didn’t realize until years down the line why one specific person was in and out of my life. Some things are learning lessons, while others are meant to be something bigger.  When you start to think about your life as seasons, you’ll realize that seasons begin and end. Our lives are made up of many seasons. A season of grieving, a season of learning, a season of love. Sometimes, they repeat.
